Landmarks Board to Talk Relocation of Historic Home

The Amarillo Board of Review for Landmarks and Historic Districts will be discussing the potential relocation of a historic home during a meeting next week.

On Monday, January 29th, board members will discuss the potential relocation of a home that is situated at 218 South Harrison Street. According to agenda materials, the home, which was originally built in the 1890's, currently sits in a central business zoning district. The applicant for the move, Samuel Silverman, is requesting that the home be moved in order to continue using the structure as a residential area.

The board will also elect officers during the meeting.

Board members will meet on Monday, January 29th at 5:30pm in Room 203 of the Simms Building (808 S. Buchanan).
