APD Investigating Toot'n Totum Robbery on Western

Amarillo Police are investigating a robbery that took place at a Toot'n Totum on South Western Street.

APD says that officers were sent to a Toot'n Totum at 211 S. Western on the report of a robbery on Wednesday. When officers arrived, they found that the store had been robbed by a suspect with a knife. Employees say that a suspect armed with a knife approached the clerk and demanded money from the register. After the man got the money, he left the store. The suspect was last seen running north from the store.

The suspect was described as being a white male in his early twenties. He was over six feet tall, and had a thin build. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a red bandanna on the lower half of his face.

No person was injured and no arrests have been made.
