The Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare Department at the City of Amarillo is waiving reclaim fees for Amarillo residents looking to reclaim pets at the Amarillo Animal Shelter.
According to information released today, AAM&W plans to waive the fees until the end of the month. The move comes as AAM&W looks to help remove financial barriers for residents looking to reclaim furry family members.
In addition, AAM&W is offering $10 microchipping. The discounted microchipping will help make sure that animals who are lost have a better shot of returning home.
