City Council to Discuss MPEV Publicly for First Time in 2018

For the first time in 2018, the Amarillo City Council plans to discuss the downtown baseball stadium at a public meeting.

On Tuesday, January 9th, members of the Amarillo City Council will discuss the MPEV, its construction and related matters at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. According to the agenda, the discussion will take place after public comment and City Councilmembers will discuss issues related to the construction of the downtown stadium.

In addition to the stadium talk Tuesday night, the City Council plans to purchase police equipment and approve an emergency services deal with Canyon.

The meeting will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, January 9th at Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue).
