Amarillo Voter Turnout Hits Weekday Low

Turnout was low on Halloween in Potter and Randall Counties.

According to numbers out of Potter County, 753 voters cast ballots on Halloween, making for the lowest turnout of any weekday early voting time during this election cycle. So far, 11,157 votes have been cast in-person in Potter County, with a little less than 2,000 mail-in votes cast.

Meanwhile, in Randall County, 1,781 voters cast ballots on Halloween, making for the lowest weekday turnout there, as well. 26,776 votes have been cast in-person in Randall, so far, with just a little over 3,200 mail-in votes cast in Randall County.

Early voting runs through November 2nd. Election Day is November 6th.
