City of Amarillo to Host Final Barrio Neighborhood Meeting

The City of Amarillo will host its final Barrio Neighborhood Plan meeting next week.

On Monday, February 26th, the City of Amarillo will host the final Barrio Neighborhood Plan meeting at the Wesley Community Center (1615 S. Roberts Street). The meeting will allow community members to provide comments to City staff on the Barrio plan before its final presentation to the Amarillo City Council.

The plan has been in development over the course of two City Councils and the Barrio Neighborhood Advisory Committee has spent the past eleven months looking at the Barrio neighborhood to create a plan for future development and guidance for improvement funding.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may offer comments or questions to the Planning Department at CityPlanning@amarillo.gov.

The meeting will be held on February 26th at 5:30pm.
