City Committee to Recommend Speed Control in Oliver-Eakle

New speed control measures could soon be coming to the Oliver-Eakle neighborhood in Amarillo.

According to an agenda posted this week, the Amarillo Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Committee is planning to meet on Monday to discuss potential new traffic control measures in the historic Oliver-Eakle neighborhood. The board will discuss and recommend the new measures during their meeting.

Also on Monday, the committee will discuss the City of Amarillo 2003-2010 Hike & Bike Master Plan and will host a public forum for concerned residents.

The meeting will be held at 11am in Room 203 of the Simms Municipal Building (808 South Buchanan) on Monday, February 26th.
