Several closures of the Ross Street Bridge have been announced by the Texas Department of Transportation.
According to information released by TxDOT, the Ross Street bridge will be closed three times over the coming weeks. On February 27th, March 2nd, and March 7th, the bridge at Ross and Interstate 40 will be closed between 8am and 8pm. During the closures, bridge beams and deck panels will be placed.
Haydon Building Corporation is the contractor on this project, which is projected to be completed by April 2019. The price tag on the project is $36.2 million.
Drivers should seek alternate routes during these closures.
