Amarillo is going to get funky next month when rap icon Sir Mix-A-Lot comes through town.
On Saturday, March 31st, Sir Mix-A-Lot will perform at Amarillo's Hoots Pub. The concert, announced this week, is for everyone ages 21 years and older.
Sir Mix-A-Lot is a rap icon who is known for his 1992 smash-hit "Baby Got Back." "Baby Got Back" charted number one on the Billboard Hot 100 after its release and is certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. Mix-A-Lot has also released six albums, two of which have been certified Platinum by the RIAA.
Tickets to see Sir Mix-A-Lot in Amarillo are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the show. Tickets are available through outhousetickets.com.
