A judge from a reality television cooking competition will be in Lubbock this month.
Ruth Reichl, a celebrity cooking judge from the hit Bravo show "Top Chef Masters" will be in Lubbock later this month to present a talk on the history of food. Reichl's talk will cover changes that have taken place in food that have morphed the subject into popular culture.
While best known as a judge on "Top Chef Masters," Reichl is also known for her work as a restaurant critic for the New York Times and as a food critic for the Los Angeles Times. Riechl is also the author of several books and is a frequent food contributor on various media platforms.
Tickets for Reichl's "In Food in Writing" event are available through Select a Seat Lubbock for $18 each.
Reichl will appear at the Texas Tech University Museum Auditorium on Thursday, March 29th.
