AEDC Considering Financial Incentive Package

The Amarillo Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors is considering approving a financial incentive package next week.

According to an agenda posted by the City of Amarillo, the AEDC will consider approving a financial incentive for a manufacturing business project. Following an executive session deliberation, the board will reconvene in open session to discuss and consider approval of the project.

No information is currently available on who the benefactor of the incentive may be.

Also, during the meeting, the board will hold a public comment period.

The meeting will be held at the AEDC Offices (801 S. Fillmore - Suite 205) on Tuesday, March 6th. The board will meet at 11am.
