The Amarillo Police Department has arrested two people on charges of murder following a deadly assault that took place on February 26th.
APD reports that a 70-year-old victim in a February assault in the 4100 block of South Monroe died Monday as a result of his injuries from an aggravated assault. Roy Spencer, the victim, died at a local hospital after officers found him with multiple lacerations on his upper body on South Monroe Street.
On Tuesday, murder warrants were issued out of Randall County for Jessica Morgan, 23, and Mason Morgan, 24. Both were located in the 9700 block of Ottobahn by members of the APD SWAT and Neighborhood Patrol Officers Unit, along with Randall County Sheriff's Office deputies.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Randall County Jail.
