Author Behind 'Humans of New York' to Speak at WTAMU

The author behind the Humans of New York blog and bestselling book will be speaking at West Texas A&M University next month.

On April 3rd, Brandon Stanton, the mind behind the Humans of New York, will speak at the First United Bank Center in Canyon. Stanton's lecture is free and open to the public. The program is being presented as part of the University's "Distinguished Lecture Series."

Stanton is best known for the Humans of New York blog, which began as a photography project in 2010. The blog offers daily snapshots of New Yorkers, tourists and residents on the streets of the Big Apple, along with their stories. The project has earned over 20 million social media followers and has produced two bestselling books. Stanton also is the mind behind a weekly video show on Facebook.

Brandon Stanton will be in Canyon on Tuesday, April 3rd. The presentation begins at 7pm.
