The creator of the "worst film ever made" will see his newest work receive a limited theatrical release that will include Amarillo this weekend.
Tommy Wiseau's new film, "Best F(r)iends" will be released to Amarillo's UA Amarillo Star theater for one showing on Friday, March 30th and Monday, April 2nd. The film is stars Greg Sestero and Tommy Wiseau and revolves around a drifter and mortician who form a business partnership. The film is being released for two days through Fathom Events.
Wiseau is the creator of "The Room," a film that has been called the "worst movie ever made" by some critics. While panned by critics, "The Room" has attracted a cult following and spawned "The Disaster Artist," a critically-acclaimed 2017 film starring James Franco and Seth Rogen, that was nominated for several Golden Globe and Academy Awards.
