Canyon City Commissioners will consider approving a fire mitigation plan at their regular meeting next week.

The plan was presented to Commissioners during the last meeting and includes definitions for procedures and preparation for prescribed burns. During Monday's meeting, Commissioners will also consider several rezoning ordinances and will receive a presentation from Mayor Gary Hinders on ongoing Arbor Day projects.
The meeting will be held on Monday, April 16th, at Canyon City Hall (301 16th Street, Canyon). The meeting will begin at 5pm.
