"The Creative Arts Community at Amarillo College is pleased to introduce a series of career-focused panel discussions featuring successful creative arts professionals with a wide range of expertise.
All degree programs at AC are aligned with one of nine Communities, including the Creative Arts Community, to help students successfully choose and complete programs of study that match their goals for employment and further education.
The inaugural “Careers in the Creative Arts” panel discussion will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 in the College Union Building Oak Room on the Washington Street Campus.
The event, which will feature a question-and-answer session, drawings for coffee coupons and theater tickets, and complimentary refreshments, is free and open to the public.
Panelists scheduled to take part on April 25 are:
Steve Bargas – front-end web developer at Computer Services, Inc. of Amarillo
Ralph Duke – longtime professional photographer in Amarillo
David Korevaar – professor of piano at University of Colorado—Boulder; graduate of the Julliard School
Kelly Podzemny – digital media coordinator with Texas Tech Health Sciences Center
Jon Revett – professional artist and professor of art at West Texas A&M University
