West Texas A&M University’s student chapter of Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) will host a “Career Panel and Mock Interview” networking event at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Jack B. Kelley Student Center, White Room, No. 38.
The event was organized by executive leaders of ALPFA, a student organization at the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business, to enable students to interact intimately with potential employers in a friendly environment. The panel session is designed to encourage undergraduate and graduate students to learn about the career stories of business leaders in the local community. After the career panel, student participants will practice networking and interviewing skills in a comfortable environment.
The career panelists for the event include:
Joshua Raef, CEO/owner of the Chick-Fil-A at Georgia Street;
Ruby Moreno, CEO of the Hispanic Amarillo Chamber of Commerce;
Ariana Gonzalez, operations manager, Amarillo National Bank; and
Evelyn Ecker, executive director, Canyon Economic Development Corporation.
