Amarillo City Council to Purchase Lights for Downtown

The Amarillo City Council is considering purchasing light posts for downtown during next week's meeting.

On Tuesday, April 24th, the City Council will consider purchasing light posts for downtown projects. The light posts will be used for projects downtown, although those projects have not yet been named in public documents. The light posts will cost S108,782.40 and the acquisition will be funded by the City of Amarillo Central Stores lnventory Account.

Also, on Tuesday night, Councilmembers will consider authorizing the Northwest Texas Healthcare System to use the City of Amarillo NEXGEN Radio Communications System. The authorization will require any applicable fees. Councilmembers will also consider purchasing an e-builder software and will receive a baseball stadium project update.

The City Council will meet on Tuesday, April 24th in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The meeting is set to begin at 5pm, following a work session at 3:30pm.
