Members of the Amarillo City Council will consider purchasing real estate downtown on Tuesday. But, what real estate exactly is uncertain.
According to an agenda posted to Amarillo.gov, Councilmembers will meet in both executive and public session to discuss the purchase of real estate in the Downtown Business District. The agenda does not include clarification on what real estate the City Council will consider purchasing, or for what price. We have requested clarification on this agenda item, which may be provided before the meeting on Tuesday.
Also, during the meeting, Councilmembers will consider purchasing Redi-Mix concrete and approving an agreement for a parks and recreation asset management plan.
The City Council will meet on Tuesday, November 6th in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The meeting will begin at 1PM, following a noon public comment work session.
