'Labyrinth' Returns to Amarillo Theaters This Week

An 1986 adventure film is returning to the silver screen in Amarillo this week.

"Labyrinth" will be shown on Amarillo screens tomorrow, May 1st, and Wednesday, May 2nd, according to available information. The showings will mark a celebration for the film, as audiences are encouraged to dress in costume and attend the screenings of the film to enjoy the nostalgia.

According to Internet Movie Database, "Labyrinth" stars David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. The film tells the story of a 16-year-old girl who is given 13 hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother when he is taken away by the Goblin King. The film was directed by Jim Henson and was nominated for two Saturn Awards and a BAFTA Award upon its release.

The film will be screened at the Amarillo UA Star Stadium theater at 7pm on May 1st and May 2nd.
