Want to Vote in the Runoffs? Your Deadline is This Month

If you plan to vote in the May 22nd runoff, you must make sure that you are registered to vote by Monday, April 23rd.

According to the Texas Secretary of State's office, registration to vote is due by April 23rd if a person plans to vote in the May 22nd runoff. Statewide, there will be no Republican runoffs, while Democrats will decide one runoff - the race for governor. Meanwhile, locally, Republicans have three races to decide in Potter County, while Randall Republicans will not have a race to decide.

  • Lupe Valdez - Former Dallas County Sheriff

  • Andrew White - Houston businessman, investor

320th District Judge (Republican Primary)

  • Steven Michael Denny - criminal defense attorney, volunteer firefighter

  • Pamela Cook Sirmon - Potter County Court at Law #2 judge

Potter County Court at Law #1 (Republican Primary)

  • Len Walker - attorney

  • Walt Weaver - attorney

Potter County Court at Law #2 (Republican Primary)

  • Matt Hand - attorney

  • Wade Overstreet - Potter County prosecutor
