Two major signings were announced this week by West Texas A&M University athletics officials.
According to WTAMU Athletics' official website, the University has announced the signing of Prairie View A&M transfer Cree Lespierre for Lady Buffs volleyball and Louisiana-Lafayette catcher Miranda Grotenhuis for Lady Buffs Softball.
Lespierre is coming to the program as the Lady Buffs wrapped up a 23-14 season, netting a 26th program playoff appearance. Lespierre played one season for Prairie View A&M before coming to WTAMU.
Gortenhuis is joining the WTAMU program, as the school just wrapped up a 40-13 season, netting an eighth program playoff appearance. Gortenhuis has playoff experience, appearing in the NCAA playoffs for Louisiana-Lafayette.
