Authorities Seek Suspect in North Madison Shooting

Local authorities need your help tracking down a suspect in connection with a shooting on North Madison.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were dispatched on early Wednesday morning to a possible shooting at Northwest 5th Avenue and North Madison Street. Officers responded to the scene and located a vehicle parked in front of a residence with a bullet hole. Bullet holes were also located on the residence and blood was found at the scene, but no victims were there.

About thirty minutes after arriving on scene, officers learned that two victims with gunshot wounds had arrived at a nearby hospital. officers investigated and found a juvenile male and a 20-year-old female suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Both suspects are reported to have been shot at the residence in the 500 block of North Madison.
