Happy New Year's, Amarillo! I've been out of town for the holidays, but this week, I still have a very brief message:
It is a new year. 2019. This May, Amarillo will have local elections. Get registered to vote. Research the candidates. Most importantly, vote. If you haven't made a New Year's resolution yet, make voting your resolution.
Of course, I have my preferences. But, regardless of your opinions, vote. Without high turnout, we cannot hope to have a council that represents the people.
