Potter County Constables Idella Jackson and Georgia Estrada are running for re-election in 2020.
Estrada announced via social media this week that both she and Jackson filed to run for re-election to their positions in the 2020 Democratic primary. Estrada serves Potter County’s Precinct 2, which covers most of the eastern part of the county, while Jackson serves Precinct 4, which covers most of North Amarillo, part of central Amarillo and the northern part of the county.
Both candidates have not yet drawn announced opponents, according to filings with the Texas Secretary of State’s Office.
Candidates will file for spots on the ballot through November 9th.
