Winegarner and Snider File for District 13 Race

Two candidates have turned in their paperwork for spots on the Republican ballot in the U.S. House District 13 race.

Josh Winegarner and Vance Snider have turned in their paperwork for places on the March 3, 2020 Republican primary ballot in hopes of replacing retiring U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon). Winegarner’s filing is reported by the Texas Republican Party, while Snider told the Pioneer in an interview on Thursday that his paperwork has been submitted.

A number of Republicans and two Democrats are also running for the seat but have not yet turned in their paperwork for a place on the ballot.

Candidates can file through December 9th.
