A man has been taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries following an accident that occurred Wednesday night.

According to Amarillo Police, on November 13th at 8:15PM, officers were dispatched to a motorcycle crash at Mockingbird Lane and Paramount. A 2015 Harley Davidson, driven by a 33-year-old male, had been westbound on Mockingbird, going through the intersection at Paramount. The motorcycle is believed to have disregarded a stop sign and pulled in front of a 2007 Hummer that was southbound on Paramount.

The driver of the Harley was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver was not wearing a helmet and speed is believed to be a factor in this case.
