Amarillo Police are reporting that a motorcycle driver was injured in a wreck this weekend.
According to APD, officers were dispatched Saturday night to the intersection at Southwest 34th and South Bell Street on a single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. A 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle was driven by a 58-year-old male, and was southbound on South Bell, approaching 34th Avenue.
The driver reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, causing him to skid into the intersection. The driver was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.
This wreck remains under investigation by the APD Traffic Investigation Squad.
