Governor Greg Abbott has named three regents for the Texas Tech University System.
This week, Abbott named Ginger Kerrick, Mark Griffin, and Dusty Womble to the board of regents for the Texas Tech University System. According to the information released by the Governor’s office, Kerrick is a resident of Webster and serves as the Flight Integration Division Chief for NASA at the Johnson Space Center. Griffin is a resident of Lubbock and serves as counsel for the Rip Griffin Truck Service Center, Inc. Womble is also from Lubbock, and is a business manager.
All three appointees have been selected for terms set to end in 2025, and must be confirmed by the Texas Senate.
