Amarillo Police Investigate Northeast 24th Robbery

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in gathering information about an armed robbery at a convenience store on Northeast 24th Avenue.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, on the evening of April 13th, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at a convenience store in the 1700 block of Northeast 24th Avenue. The victim told officers that a black male, standing around 5’2”, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and a red mask, came into the store and pointed a pistol at him. The victim told officers the suspect then demanded money out of the register.

Another suspect, described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a faded blue hoodie and blue jeans, was reported to be standing watch outside of the store.

The suspects left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries reported from this incident.
