A little over 1,300 voters showed up to the polls on Friday to mark the end of the only full week of early voting.
On Friday, 1,318 voters showed up to cast ballots in total, with 471 ballots coming from Potter and 874 ballots coming from Randall. Both days marked turnout highs for their respective counties during early voting, as voters head to the polls to decide the Amarillo City Council, Amarillo College, and local school board contests.
In total, 3,331 early ballots have been cast out of Randall, while 1,791 have been cast out of Potter County. About 450 mail-in ballots have also been cast in Potter, while a little over 1,100 have been cast in Randall County.
Early voting ends April 30. Election day is May 4.
