The City of Amarillo will host a zoning code meeting next week.
According to information from the City of Amarillo, a zoning code revision meeting will be held June 5th at 5:30PM in the Amarillo Civic Center Grand Plaza. The meeting is part of the City’s 2010 comprehensive plan. The revision of the ordinance will include provisions for signs, subdivisions, manufactured homes, RV parks, landmarks and historic preservation sites, and airport height hazards. Revisions will impliment policies to “modernize and simplify” the ordinance and regulations based on community input, officials say.
Citizens are encouraged to attend the meeting, ask questions, and to provide feedback.
