Members of the Amarillo City Council will consider voting to amend the City’s Municipal Code on Tuesday.
According to an agenda posted to Amarillo.gov, the proposed amendment to the Municipal Code will provide a section for the Public Health Department and will provide “clauses for severability, repealer, continuation of prior law and obligations.” This will be the first reading of the proposed ordinance.
Also, during the meeting, Council will consider voting on several contracts and will finalize a proposal for a commercial and industrial tax abatement.
