Two Texans who want to be the next President of the United States will share the debate stage on June 26th in Miami, Florida.
On Friday, it was announced that, after qualifying for the debate stage by collecting an adequate number of donations and by showing enough support in a number of polls, former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-El Paso) and Julian Castro (D-San Antonio) will share the Democratic Party’s presidential debate stage on Wednesday, June 26th. The Texas contenders won’t be the highest polling candidates on the stage, as Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren will also be on the stage, along with a number of other contenders.
Other Democratic front-runners, such as Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), Vice President Joe Biden (D-Delaware), Kamala Harris (D-California), and Pete Buttigieg (D-Indiana) will also debate on the second night of the debates (June 27th) in Miami.
The debates will be shown on NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo.
