Both the Amarillo City Council and Canyon City Commission will be in action next week with short meetings ahead of the July 4th holiday.
In Amarillo, the City Council will meet on Tuesday, July 2nd to consider several purchases and the awarding of contracts for a land lease and a contract for health care consulting. The City Council will also meet in an executive session at some point in the meeting.
The Amarillo City Council’s meeting will begin at 1PM following a 12PM public comment meeting in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (601 South Buchanan).
Meanwhile, Canyon City Commissioners will meet on Monday, July 1st, to hold an executive session related to the City of Canyon’s city manager search. Public comments will also be taken.
That meeting will begin at 6PM in Canyon City Hall (301 16th Street, Canyon).
