Amarillo Independent School District Trustees will interview the finalists for two vacant positions next week.
On Tuesday, July 23rd, the Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting to interview the six finalists for the positions. From the group of six, two candidates will be selected to replace John Ben Blanchard and Renee McCown on the board. The agenda does not explicitly declare whether any appointments will be made next week, but that a deliberation will be held following the interviews.
The meeting will begin at 4PM in the Board Room of the Amarillo ISD Education Support Center (7200 Interstate 40 West).
