Col. Kim Olson will be in Amarillo this week hosting a fundraiser for her congressional campaign.
Olson, the Democratic Party’s 2018 nominee for Agriculture Commissioner, will be at the Six Car Pub and Brewery on Saturday, July 13th for a fundraiser and meet-and-greet event. Olson is raising funds as she seeks the Democratic Party’s nomination to take on Republican Kenny Marchant. Marchant’s is one of several seats Democrats are hoping to flip from Republican control in 2020, with activists noting that the Republican incumbent won re-election by about three points last year.
Those attending the event will have the option to purchase beverages from a cash bar and food from a limited menu.
