Potter County Commissioners Back Staffing Changes

A few changes were made to staffing during a recent meeting of the Potter County Commissioners’ Court.

According to minutes from the Commissioners’ most recent meeting on Monday, Commissioners voted 5-0 to approve adding one additional district attorney to the 47th District Attorney’s Office. The vote also approved the addition of an additional investigator to the office.

In other changes, Commissioners also voted 5-0 to approve adding an additional resource officer for River Road Independent School District, which will be staffed by the Potter County Sheriff’s Office.

Also addressed during the meeting, Commissioners approved a contract between Potter County and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Commissioners also voted to approve refunds on overpayments of taxes.
