Potter County officials reported this week that an employee at Tyson Foods’ location in Amarillo was killed.
According to Potter County, deputies were dispatched on August 2nd to an occupational accident at the Tyson Foods location in Amarillo, where they found that Warren Slaton, 34, was working on line equipment when he was pinned between loaded pallets. Officers arrived to find employees performing CPR on Slaton, who was pronounced deceased.
Justice of the Peace Robert Taylor has ordered an autopsy.
