Amarillo Police are currently investigating an accident that occurred Tuesday on the north end of Thompson Park.
According to APD, officers were dispatched Tuesday to a single vehicle rollover on the north end of Thompson Park. A black SUV had been travelling westbound in the park before striking a tree, which caused the vehicle to roll.
One of the passengers was transported to a local hospital with possible life threatening injuries. The other five passengers were transported with non-life threatening injuries.
