State Sen. Pat Fallon is the Republican Party’s new nominee for U.S. Congress in Texas’ 4th Congressional District.

Fallon, a Republican firebrand representing the district which includes Wichita Falls, was selected by Republicans in North Texas over the weekend to replace John Ratcliffe on the November ballot. Ratcliffe left the November ballot after being confirmed to the role of U.S. Director of National Intelligence.

With his easy majority victory to replace Ratcliffe, Fallon is now advancing to the general election where he will meet Democrat Russell Foster and Libertarian Kevin Hale in November.
