An anti-Trump message on a Cadillac at the Cadillac Ranch over the weekend sparked a painting war between opponents and supporters of President Donald Trump.
Over the weekend, musician Rihanna posted a photo from the Cadillac Ranch of a Cadillac with the message “F—k Trump” painted in black on the car’s roof. The photos attracted media attention and received over 56,000 shares from the singer’s Twitter account alone.
Following the message, Panhandle Trump campaign field director Vance Snider posted photos from the Cadillac Ranch of Trump supporters painting over Rihanna’s message.
“You forgot one thing when you snuck out here in the middle of the night to spray paint F*** Trump at Cadillac Ranch,” Snider said in a Facebook post. “This is Trump Country and we support Donald J. Trump for President!”
Snider later posted photos on Sunday of a group of Trump supporters painting every Cadillac at the site to display pro-Trump messages. Among the messages found on the cars were “MAGA,” “Keep America Great,” and “Trump 2020.”
