Voters in Amarillo will have an opportunity to meet the candidates vying for their votes when the Amarillo Pioneer hosts its 2022 Primary Candidate Forum this February.
On Thursday, February 3, the Amarillo Pioneer will host its candidate forum featuring the Republican and Democrat candidates running for office in the March primary election. The forum will be moderated by Amarillo City Councilman Cole Stanley, attorney Len Walker, and Amarillo Pioneer editor Thomas Warren.
“We are excited to provide this opportunity for voters to meet the people behind the names on their ballots this March,” Amarillo Pioneer columnist Noah Dawson said. “We will have candidates in from all over Texas, so this will be a can’t miss event.”
Candidates running for offices ranging from Governor to Constable will be invited to participate in the forum this year, providing every candidate a platform to get their message out to Amarillo voters.
The event will be hosted at the Amarillo VFW Post 1475 in downtown Amarillo (1401 SW 8th Ave), with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the event set for a 7 p.m. start.
