Texas gubernatorial candidate Allen West will stop in Amarillo next month ahead of the upcoming March primary election.

According to True Texas Project, West will appear at the Arena of Life Church in Amarillo (8827 Fm to Mkt Rd. 1541) on Saturday, January 22, as he campaigns for governor. West is expected to meet voters and share his vision for Texas ahead of the state’s primary election.

West is currently seeking the Republican nomination for governor among a field of candidates that also includes Gov. Greg Abbott, former State Sen. Don Huffines, activist Rick Perry, comedian Chad Prather, businessman Danny Harrison, attorney Paul Belew, and philanthropist Kandy Horn.

West’s event will begin at noon on January 22.
