Republican gubernatorial candidate Chad Prather is coming to Amarillo to introduce himself to local primary voters.

On Thursday, November 18, Prather will appear in Amarillo at the Arena of Life Church in Amarillo as part of the Texas First Election Series. Voters interested in Prather are encouraged to attend and hear from the candidate, as well as to ask questions and meet him in person.

Prather is challenge Gov. Greg Abbott in the March 2022 Republican primary for governor. Prather is a popular conservative commentator and stand-up comic whose brand of common-sense political analysis has attracted legions of fans. He is joined in the primary against Abbott by former State Sen. Don Huffines, former U.S. Rep. Allen West, attorney Paul Belew, and veteran Kurt Schwab.

The event will begin at 6pm on November 18 and is presented by the Texas Freedom Coalition.
