Amarillo Police Respond to Fights Near Tascosa High

Three fights near Tascosa High School drew the attention of Amarillo Police on Wednesday.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, on Wednesday, December 8, just after 1 p.m., APD liaison officers were informed of two fights occurring off campus in a parking lot in the 2000 block of South Western Street, near Tascosa High School. While officers were investigating this incident, a large crowd gathered in a parking lot in the 3700 block of Wolflin Avenue. A fight broke out at the scene with several people involved.

APD liaison officers on scene and other responding officers broke up the fights. Authorities say that at the time of publication, no arrests had been made, but the incidents remain under investigation.
