Amarillo City Council Place 3 candidate Tom Scherlen picked up another endorsement this week.
On Monday, Scherlen received the endorsement of the Amarillo Taxpayers PAC. Led by treasurer Noah Dawson, the PAC hailed Scherlen as the candidate best suited to bring business experience and common sense back to the City Council.
Scherlen is currently seeking the Place 3 seat on the Amarillo City Council held by incumbent Eddy Sauer. Scherlen is the former CEO of Austin Hose, a local Amarillo employer with locations across Texas and in Kansas.
Election Day is May 1.
