County officials are reporting that 1,299 ballots were cast between Potter and Randall Counties during the first day of early voting this week.
On Monday, voters in Potter and Randall Counties turned out at a steady pace to get their first votes in for the upcoming May 1 election. 761 voters cast in-person ballots early in Randall County, while 538 voters cast ballots in-person in Potter County.
The top polling location for Randall County was the Randall County Annex, where 316 voters showed up to early vote on Monday, followed closely by the Southwest Library at 314 votes.
For Potter County, Hillside Christian Church Northwest reported the most votes of any location, with 135 votes, followed by the Santa Fe Building with 124 votes.
Also, as of Tuesday, 1,527 voters have cast mail-in ballots between both counties. This includes 536 ballots for Potter and 991 ballots for Randall.
Voters can cast early ballots through April 27. Election Day is May 1.
