According to the Randall County Sheriff’s Office, the RCSO will be leading a join task force made up of federal, state, and local agencies to monitor an event taking place on Thursday and Friday in Randall County that involves the Bandido Motorcycle Club. According to the RCSO, the Bandido organization has been classified as an “Outlaw Motorcycle Organization” by the United States Department of Justice and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

RSCO says the purpose of the task force is to ensure continued safety of residents and visitors and to “ensure the public understands law enforcement in the area is unwilling tolerate criminal activity.”

“While we hope the presence of a large number of Bandido members in the area will remain peaceful, national and global intelligence about this gang and its affiliates effectuates the need for caution and demands a substantial law enforcement presence,” Randall County Sheriff Christopher Forbis said in a statement.
