U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Amarillo) reported a big fundraising haul during the most recent campaign finance reporting period, bringing in over $347,000 for his re-election bid.
According to a filing by Jackson’s campaign, the first-term Republican legislator brought in $347,655.94 in contributions between April 1 and June 30. Jackson’s fundraising for this cycle puts him in a strong financial position as the 2022 election cycle begins to heat up, with the Jackson campaign holding $476,146.85 on-hand, as of June 30.
Thus far, Jackson has drawn one challenger for his 2022 re-election campaign — Wichita Falls Democrat Kathleen Brown. Brown’s campaign finance data was not available at the time of publication.
